Hey there lovelies! As a bit of a get to know me, I thought I’d take the TMI tag that the amazing Carrie Hope Fletcher created all the way back in October 2013 (you can watch her video here) and adjust it to blogging. You heard it all here first!
1: What are you wearing?
Grey leggings with bleach stains, my boyfriend’s old t-shirt that I saved from the charity bag (is there anything better than your boyfriend’s comfy clothes? I think not) and a messy bun. It’s a comfy home day, I have no bra and no shame.
2: Ever been in love?
Yes – my lovely boyfriend is the love of my life, I don’t know what I’d do without him!
3: Ever had a terrible breakup?
Haven’t we all?
4: How tall are you?
A dinky 5ft 4in.
5: How much do you weigh?
I’m plus size, the rest is none of your beeswax, thankyou very muchly.
6: Any tattoos?
Nope but I would love a small one that says ‘…and still i rise;’ in cursive.
7: Any piercings?
Ears only and even that took me until my later teenage years.
Collie – Carrie Fletcher and Oliver Ormson
9: Favourite Show?
But I have so many! Outnumbered, Gavin and Stacey, Benidorm, Only Fools and Horses, Citizen Khan, Orange Is The New Black… *4hrs later* …Inbetweeners, Dinner Ladies, Live At The Apollo, Blackadder, oh and that show with Dawn French in, sorry all of the shows with Dawn French in…
10: Favourite bands?
More of an artist kind of a gal myself, with Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Pink at the top of the list.
11: Something you miss?
Chewing gum and necklaces. One word, seizures. Oh and the sea, I LOVE the sea but don’t live anywhere near it.
12: Favourite song?
Okay, I am a very indecisive person! But at a push of three, I would have to go with Homesick – Dua Lipa, Say You Won’t Let Go – James Arthur and A Million Dreams – The Greatest Showman.
13: How old are you?
19 years, 7 months and 8 days.
14: Zodiac sign?
15: Quality you look for in a partner?
Kindness and the ability to make me giggle.
16: Favourite Quote?
On the difficult days, when the world is on your shoulders, remember that diamonds are made under the weight of mountains.
17: Favourite actor?
David Tennant, do I even need to explain?
18: Favourite colour?
19: Loud music or soft?
Soft. My boyfriend drives me MAD with his loud music in the car. Unless it’s a sunny day and we’re on the motorway with the windows down, music should be low thanks.
20: Where do you go when you’re sad?
My room or my boyfriend.
21: How long does it take you to shower?
Anything from 5/10mins up to 45mins/1hr if I’m washing the locks and shaving everything.
22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
20mins to an hour depending on how dressy I’m going.
23: Ever been in a physical fight?
No, unless pulling my sister’s hair and having to be pulled apart from each other when we were kids counts?
24: Turn on?
Kind eyes and a nice smile.
25: Turn off?
26: The reason you made a blog?
So I can shout the inner most babbles of my mind at the world without being given weird looks and wide births.
Oblivion – name that reference. No, I’m getting better but my worst fear is being misunderstood and constantly find myself over explaining to try and avoid it.
28: Last thing that made you cry?
Hormones, just coz.
29: Last time you said you loved someone?
Literally a few minutes ago on the phone to my boyfriend.
30: Meaning behind your Blog Name?
I am always tired, no matter what I’ve actually done or the time of day; anyone who has ever spent day after day with me will know this. I have so many plans, dreams and aspirations in my head but life doesn’t always work out the way you want it do and things either don’t happen, happen slowly or are put on hold. Inspired by the likes of ItsWayPastMyBedtime and SprinkleOfGlitter, I wanted something unique and DreamingThroughMyAlarm was born.
31: Last book you read?
‘Wilde Like Me’ by Louise Pentland – and I can’t wait to receive my pre-order of Wilde About The Girl!
32: The book you’re currently reading?
Currently two thirds of the way through ‘All That She Can See’ by Carrie Hope Fletcher and part way through ‘The Curvy Girls Club’ by Michele Gorman.
33: Last show you watched?
I can’t even remember apart from the news…corrie at my boyfriend’s house a couple of days ago? I don’t watch a lot of tv.
34: Last person you talked to?
My dad, to tell him my boyfriend’s car had now passed its MOT.
35: The relationship between you and the person you last texted?
36: Favourite food?
Gnocchi – potato pasta, the ultimate carb. *drools*
37: Place you want to visit?
Lake Hillier in Australia. I only found out about it today and it sounds mind blowing, a naturally pink saline lake next to the sea on an island.
38: Last place you were?
39: Do you have a crush?
Girl, I already have the guy!
40: Last time you kissed someone?
Yesterday, when my boyfriend popped over bearing his experiment desserts (he’s a chef) and wanting to borrow something.
41: Last time you were insulted?
By my sister, a couple of hours ago, because we partake in banter.
42: Favourite flavour of sweet?
Pineapple Gummy Bears or Coconut Jelly Beans, otherwise pink or purple.
43: What instruments do you play??
I’ve played the recorder in the past and the clarinet, which I still own but haven’t touched in over a couple of years. I can also play a little keyboard and have an electro-acoustic guitar which I can play half decently.
44: Favourite piece of jewellery?
The Sterling Silver Ring my parents bought me for prom that I wear every single day without fail.
45: Last sport you played?
Badminton at 10.30pm with my boyfriend, whispering in his garden as it went dark.
46: Last song you sang?
‘Beautiful’ from Heathers The Musical. The whole soundtrack is stuck in my head lately.
47: Favourite chat up line?
How was heaven when you left?
48:Have you ever used it?
I’d never have the guts!
49: Last time you hung out with anyone?
50: Who should answer these questions next?
I invite everyone reading this with a blog to complete this tag but I specifically tag Becky over at beckyblogsxo.com, if she hasn’t done it already. Becky and I were great friends in our last year at primary school and her blog is a great read that you should definitely check out.
I hope you have enjoyed having a bit of a nosey into who I am and I look forward to seeing you round these parts again soon.
